A New Blind and Invisible Watermarking Scheme for Protection of Digital Images

In recent years, the distribution of works of art, including pictures, music, video and textual documents, has become easier. With the widespread and increasing use of the Internet, digital forms of these media (still images, audio, video, text) are easily accessible. Digital Watermarking are being looked as promising means for protecting ownership. In this paper we present a robust and bind watermarking scheme for copyright protection of digital images. The proposed watermarking scheme embeds a binary watermark image into a host image for protecting its copyright. As the proposed watermarking scheme is called blind so it does not required the original image or any of its characteristics for the extraction of watermark. The experimental results demonstrate the robustness achieved by the proposed watermarking scheme.
